2016-2023 Toyota Tacoma 3.5L Carven Exhaust Cat-Back Exhaust Kit | 4.0” Single Exit Tip

This is the best sounding exhaust I have heard for gen 3 tacoma but still highway drone strong at about 2200rpm. Common problem I know, working on a few mickey mouse solutions before going for the J-pipe mod.

Material is quality metal. Nice sound and looks good. Biggest issue is that when i got mine it was damaged. The pipe behind the muffler was bent. Then I received the wrong exhaust tip. I repaired the pipe and they replaced the end with the correct one. When i contacted them they stated that they where sorry. I would have figured they would've done something to make it right but did'nt

Installed in less then 15min, even without a vehicle lift. Everything went together perfectly fine. Followed the install video put out by Carven Exhaust. Sounds absolutely amazing. Even noticed a slight horsepower bump.

I was very pleased with the sound of the exhaust. You'll hear it on start up. Once you're driving, it's quite subtle at normal cruising or very gradual throttle. Once you give it gas and it is over 2/2.5k rpms, then especially 3/4k+, it's very present. My Tacoma is stick, and the little gurgle it makes shifting from 1st to 2nd makes me smile every time. If you are cruising on the highway and come up on a steeper incline, you'll hear it. When you want to hear it, it rips, as expected by the lack of baffles. If you want this, like I did, then it's great :)
Warning: while the exhaust flow may improve fuel economy, the effect on driving habits is likely to decrease fuel economy!
