If you buy a dump pipe you should expect it to be loud. I think the website should post some audio of this exhaust though, it only seems fair. The exhaust drones a lot and you can really hear it in the cab. It sounds like a Raptor without the boost. We all know our FJs do a lot of gear hunting and this exhaust serves as a reminder to go supercharger. The actual exhaust looks bad ass when you get to see it. Good welds. Clearance is top notch. Install was a breeze.
I recently purchased the FJc dump kit. Tucks up very nicely and dumps out in a great spot. My cats recently went out so I upgraded the whole system so I can't speak about sound when it bolts to factory exhaust. But what I have (shorty headers and 2cats instead of the factory 4) has a very healthy V6 sound.
A great product, which I received today after 4 weeks. High quality and sounds really good. Not overwhelming. Love it!
This thing sounds nice,good throaty sound to it. With that said if you have not soundproofed your FJ, it’s gonna be very noisy driving in the cab of the FJ. And it will be constant noisy unless your foot is off the gas, but if that is not a problem, this is a wonderful product so easy to install .. I’m happy with it but again let’s just say I have kept my old muffler just in case I find the noise too much in the near future. But if this is for an FJ cruiser that goes out in the wilderness a lot then I think it is a fantastic product for that high clearance I would not recommend for a grocery getter every day driver, and that’s exactly what I’m using it for

Easy install and well made but way louder than described, drone in cab is really loud not a mild exhaust like advertised.
Excellent quality, sounds amazing. Not going to get hung up on the trail. Wish I bought this earlier.
