2016 Chevy 5.3L V8 Progresive Series Catback Exhaust

Could not recommend the Progressive Series Catback Exhaust for a 2014-2019 Chevy Silverado more. It isn't too loud but has a deep grumble - I get lots of compliments. It does drone in V4 mode if you have a V8 - I am looking into an AFM/DOD delete to help with this. 11/10 would recommend - fairly priced and relatively easy install. The only negative is it does not come with 3 exhaust clamps (mine was too rusted behind the cats to keep) and the 2 it does come with are not the most durable so I will likely be replacing them.

Carven Progressive Exhaust

I am very pleased with the quality of the exhaust and the accessories that come with it. The installation was effortless compared to any other exhaust I've ever installed. I am disappointed with two things: how close the exhaust tip is to the bottom of the bedside and how subtle it truly is. I expected this exhaust to be on the quieter site but it is very quiet in my opinion (besides the startup). It could be that my Silverado has 3 Cats from the factory which quiets it down but all in all, I'm happy with this system.

Progressive Catback

Super easy install and the polished tip looks amazing. The sound is soooooo good, best I’ve heard yet. I wasn’t sure if it would be much louder than stock but I can confirm that it is quite a bit louder (at least for me). Has a great low tone that really brings out the V8 sound. I had questions during install and Carven was very responsive on the phone and over email. Definitely a company I would do business with again. Carven for life!

Hit or Miss Quality

In 2023, I purchased a Carved Progressive system for my 2014 Silverado. It was great, perfect amount of noise and tone and absolutely zero drone in the cab. It sounded like a high quality exhaust, gave me zero issues and was great. After purchasing my 2018 Sierra I ordered the exact same Carven Progressive and this one sounds completely different. It has drone at almost every cruising speed and sounds to be louder in the cab than out the tailpipe. After triple checking everything there are no leaks and every clamp and hanger is tight. Disappointed with my new exhaust after being so pleased with my previous purchase from Carven.

Looks and sounds great.

I bought the Progressive series catback to replace the 7 year old side exit Flowmaster super 40 I had on my 17 Silverado 1500 and I am very happy with my purchase.
The parts are very high quality with nice looking welds, the mandrel bends are perfect and the exhaust note is exactly what I was looking for.
It's not too loud when cruising but it hollers when you step on it, this exhaust just sounds high quality.
Super easy to install (~75mins with beer breaks) and everything lined up like it was OEM.
I'm 99% sure that I'll be looking at Carven for my next exhaust, you guys knocked it out of the park.

Via you tube professor Mike sold me on the system. Unbelievable easy to install. The progressive system is amazing. Love love the note. Great drone at highway speed and awesome aggressive tone at back road acceleration. When I retire my truck I will be coming to you for the next upgrade. Only bummer is no stickers. For vehicle or tool box. Beyond that thank you for all that you do. Customer for life. Two thumbs up.

I love the sound and tone of this exhaust. It seems to sit a little high and not hang low it's touching the bottom corner of my box , but going to adjust the pipes later this week and see if I can get it to sit lower but other then that the fit and finish is amazing

Great product

The product seems to be very high quality. It was very easy to install. and sounds awesome. It has a nice deep rumble at startup, sounds pretty aggressive upon acceleration, and is fairly quiet when cruising.
