1 year of ownership and the Carven exhaust is covered in rust. Notice how the factory exhaust has zero rust after 60,000 miles.
The Carven black 3” tips are giving me the same issue… idk man, the exhaust sounds so good but the quality of steel is just not there. Very disappointing
Excellent product, this is my 2nd Carven bolt on exhaust. Love the sound and fitment. Never any issues and customer service is always fast to respond
2019-2024 Ram Carven Exhaust Competitor Series Cut & Clamp Direct Fit Muffler Replacement Kit
Had one on my 2017 ram with the hemi cut and clamp sounded great. Went with the same cut clamp for the 2022 ram with a hemi. Doesn’t sound as good sounds good, but not the same. I’m not sure if it’s because a smaller muffler what the difference is between the 2017 cut and clamp and the difference between the 2022 cut clamp.?
Its so sweet the dealership just took the information from me to start ordering your products dor their customers with dodge rams..
Added this muffler, left everything else alone including resonators and cats. Has a nice rumble. No drone. Can hear it best when accelerating.
Great exhaust sound. Not too aggressive, but just what I was looking for. When cruising, you can hear it but not overpowering. When accelerating, sounds mean. Installation was a breeze, took about 30 minutes which included getting out and putting away tools. Could not believe how easy it was. Took longer to find a good position to cut the exhaust with the sawzall than to actually cut it. Muffler hangers came out pretty easy with WD40 and a crowbar. Tried a hanger removal tool and broke the weld on the tool with only a half a pound of force so I had to grab the crowbar. All and all, installation and performance this is 5 stars for me.
Sounds awesome! Just what I was looking for.
The overall quality looks very good just the sound is not what I was looking for. At low rpms sound like a truck with broken exhaust.
Idle and cold start sound great also when hard on gas. It's that middle point that's off also feel that I lost power down at the bottom.
It sounds great from the outside but the drone inside is horrible. I'm serious thinking of putting my stock muffler back on.
Great sound.
Easy installation
Just installed mine this weekend. Sounds awesome! Great tone with some rasp at rev. No drone going down the highway.
2019-2023 Ram Carven Exhaust Competitor Series Cut & Clamp Direct Fit Muffler Replacement Kit
I was a little worried on how this exhaust would sound untill I installed it. It’s crisp but can be aggressive when you step on it. I wanted my 2024 Ram with the V8 Hemi to turn heads and it does just that . Installation was easy , did it myself in about an hour ( on the ground , no lift or jacks) . Use a small saws all to cut behind the muffler and cut the existing brackets off instead of trying to pull them through the rubber mounts, it’s a lot easier. Love the sound, love the product.
Fit perfect on my 2024 ram 1500 sounds amazing
I purchased this exhaust for my 5th gen ram 5.7 based on a youtube video i saw online, from what the person said and explained it should have been relatively quiet in the cabin, the reality is the droon or groon is unbearable.
there really should be a customer satisfaction clause in the return policy. my fault I should have read.
Best company ever bought from!
Had this exhaust on my 2016 ram as well had the perfect sound and ease of installation I had to get one for my 24 . You will not be disappointed with this muffler replacement
Exhaust sounds aggressive Definitely worth the upgrade. Only problem is I can’t hear my Pro charger over the growl anymore.
The exhaust definitely sounds good and more aggressive than most. There is quite a bit of drone inside the cabin when cruising on the highway between 1600-1800rpm with or without MDS turned off, didn’t seem to matter. Needs a little music to drown it out. I was kind of surprised since a lot of research said there was no drone. Still a great sounding exhaust if you can deal with a little drone.
I bought one of their mufflers for my 2016 ram and loved how it sounded. The product quality was great and it's very easy to install. I recently got a 2021 Ram 1500 Limited and bought their muffler for that and it sounds just as good and was also easy to put on. I've had several customers that comer to a repair shop I work at and end up ordering their mufflers as well and had me install them. These guys are awesome with customer service and products you won't find a product thats better and direct fit or minor modification to install.
Love the exhaust sound and very easy to install with basic mechanics tools
Will the muffler replacement work on my 2019 it says up to 2018???
